Why Steps PAC Company Teams?

Ages 5 -18 and Beginning to Advanced skill levels have the opportunity to be apart of our Award Winning Steps PAC Company Tribe!
.Teams are made up of skill level and age. 
. All teams compete with 4 routines Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary, Character, Hip Hop routines. 

. These amazing dancers have many opportunities to perform throughout the dance season, in both recitals and compete 4 times March-May.
. Teams go to 1 to 2 fun local inspiring conventions as a company.
. Our teams dance 5 to 12 hours a week depending on what team they are on. Weekly required classes consist of Ballet and jazz technique, Step up strength training, choreography classes in Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary & hip hop. They can add on classes like tumbling/Acro, Cheer, Show choir, Tap or extra technique and Pointe.

.Team dancers ge to be apart of an exclusive group that unites once a month for team bonding activities. 
. Steps PAC Company Teams Strongly believe in and encourage positive growth mindset, good sportsmanship, kindness, respect, goalsetting and teamwork. These students learn how to work hard for something, never give up and reap the much-earned rewards which include confidence in themselves. Many skills learned in team classes are contributed to life lessons which helps develope successfull adults.
. At Steps PAC we believe that learning to be good people is actually more important than learning to be phenominal dancers. We help them learn and inspire them to be both. 
. Because of the dedication and opportunities available to teams, these dancers grow in their dance skills and performing ability at a faster pace. Team members learn what they need to achieve thier goals.
.Because of the training we offer very season we have our Team dancers make highshool cheer teams, dance company or Drill teams, get colledge scholarships for dance and move on to professional work.  No matter what your goal is WE have the STEPS to help you achileve it! 
.Being on a team is a commitment for both parent and dancer for the dance season Aug - May and are expected to attend 70% of summer classes June & July with mandatory choreography boot camps for 2 days scheduled sometime in the first two weeks of August. Because of the commitment of team dancers and parents are teams are hard working and get more out of thier time in class. 
. All PARENTS AND DANCERS are invited to attend the parent info meeting In April. Watch for email with zoom link.
. ALL dancers invited to attend the audition workshops and in person group audition. Info listed below.
Private auditions are available to those who can not attend the group auditions. $30 for a 15 minute in person audition. Book with director Susie 801-318-2194
