Team Classes

NEW! Read the Fall Registration & Audition Details!

Competition Show Team levels range from Novice to Advanced. They will learn and perform multiple dances throughout the dance season. They perform at special events and participate in 3 competitions. This requires a commitment from both dancer and parent from September to August.

These dancers will learn: hard work, endurance, good showmanship/good sportsmanship, teamwork, confidence, respect & responsibility.

Showmanship

Good showmanship/Good Sportsmanship is very important to us. We encourage our dancers to be competitive but respectful to have a positive attitude and kind spirit when they compete.

Auditions

The first Tuesday and Wednesday of August. They must come to both days.

We strive to make our Auditions fun and exciting, with little pressure.

Teams are made up of skill level and age consideration. Placement of Teams will be posted on the Team page the second week in August.

Preparation

Anyone interested in being on a Team needs to take an Open Class or Technique Class throughout the year to help them learn & prepare themselves.

Jazz/Lyrical

This class includes warmup, Stretching, jazz/ballet technique and fun creative choreography.

  • Minis: 2 hours – Wednesday 3:30-4:30 & Thursday 6:00 – 7:00
  • Sparkles: 3 hours – Tuesday 5:30 – 7:30 & Wednesday 5:30 – 6:30
  • Stars: 3.5 hours – Tuesday 5:30 – 8:00 & Wednesday 5:30 – 6:30
  • Juniors: 3.5 hours – Tuesday 6:30 – 8:00 & Thursday 6:00 – 8:00
  • Express: 4 hours – Tuesday 3:30 – 5:30 & Wednesday 4:30 – 6:30

Clogging

This class includes clogging warmup, and intricate foot movements put to music. Dances are choreographed with arm movements. This is a fun way to improve your rhythm and coordination.

  • Stompers/ Clogging 1: Tuesday 6:30 – 7:30
  • Rhythm/Clogging 2: Wednesday 3:30 – 4:30
  • Power/Clogging 3: Tuesday 5:30 – 6:30

Hip Hop

This class includes warmup, pop & lock isolations, Funky Hip Hop technique, break dancing and fun Rhythm choreography.

    (mixed Boyz and Girlz)
